David Morrison – Non-Executive Chairman
David Morrison has been a non-executive director of MessageLabs since 1999 and became chairman in 2006. David is Chief Executive of Prospect Investment Management, a venture capital investment company based in London. He is on the Board of MessageLabs representing the shareholdings of Prospect’s clients, RIT Capital Partners plc and the family interests of Lord Rothschild and the late Lord Weinstock. He serves on the board of several public and private companies.



Adrian Chamberlain – Chief Executive Officer
Adrian Chamberlain joined MessageLabs as Chief Executive Officer in February 2006. Adrian worked for Cable & Wireless for nine years in several leadership roles, culminating in his appointment to the main board in 2002. During his time there he managed the UK’s largest cable TV, telephony and internet operation, launching the world’s first digital cable TV service. He also spent eighteen months in Asia Pacific running the Consumer and Multimedia Division of Optus, a large telecommunications company. Prior to joining Messagelabs he was Main Board Director and CEO Europe for Lend Lease, a major construction, retail and property development company. Adrian brings a consistent track record of wealth creation, international expertise, technology management and public company board experience to Messagelabs. He is a graduate of both Cambridge University and the London Business School.




Ben White – Co Founder and Non-Executive Director
Ben White is one of the best known technology entrepreneurs in the UK. He co-founded MessageLabs with his brother Jos in 1999 and served as Chief Executive until 2006. In 2006 Ben handed over the CEO responsibilities to Adrian Chamberlain and is now an active non Executive. Prior to co-founding MessageLabs, Ben co-founded Star Internet, one of the largest ISP’s in the UK where he serves as Chief Executive Officer. Before Star, Ben co-founded RBR Networks, a Cisco supplier that grew into Cisco’s largest distributor in Europe and was sold to Datatec in 1998. Ben was recognized by the European Technology Forum's UK Technology Innovation & Growth Awards as 'Technology Entrepreneur of the Year' for 2005 and in December 2005 was ranked in the top ten of Management Today's list of the UK's top 100 entrepreneurs.




Jos White – Chief Marketing Officer and Co Founder
Jos White co-founded MesageLabs with his brother Ben in 1999 and since that time has served as Chief Marketing Officer for the company. In this role Jos has been responsible for marketing strategy, demand generation, corporate communications, product marketing and brand development for the company. Jos was also responsible for launching MessageLabs in the US market in 2003 and has served as President of MessageLabs in the Americas region since that time. Prior to co-founding MessageLabs, Jos was co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer at Star Internet, one of the UK’s largest ISP’s, and previously was the Marketing Director of RBR Networks, a Cisco supplier that grew into Cisco’s largest distributor in Europe before being sold to Datatec in 1998. Prior to that Jos was with the Leo Burnett advertising agency in London. He received a B.A. honors degree in English Literature from London University.




Stephen Chandler – Chief Financial Officer
Stephen Chandler has served as Chief Financial Officer and Director of MessageLabs since 1999 and additionally serves as President of MessageLabs EMEA. As well as overseeing the finance function, Stephen’s responsibilities encompass strategy and planning, M&A, investor relations and management of the legal and commercial team. From 1995 to 2000, he was a Director in the Technology, Media and Telecoms Team of UBS Warburg. Stephen qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte & Touche. He has an honors degree in economics from Exeter University and is a member of the Securities Institute.



Richard Atkins - Senior Independent Non-Executive Director
Richard Atkins has served as a non-executive director of MessageLabs since 2007. Having spent the majority of his career within the IT and support services industry, Richard has held a number of senior positions in marketing, strategy and general management at IBM. Before his retirement from IBM in 2005 he was most recently General Manager, IBM Global Services Northern Europe, a member of the IBM Global Services European Operations Team and a member of the IBM worldwide Senior Leadership Team. In 1991, Richard, as Finance Director, led the MBO of Data Sciences Limited from Thorn EMI plc before managing its acquisition by IBM in 1996. Richard is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (FCA), qualifying with Ernst & Young. He is Chairman of TripleArc plc and 7 City and is non-executive director at Global Crossing UK.



D. Ryan McNally - Non-Executive Director
D. Ryan McNally has served as a non-executive director of MessageLabs since 2000. Ryan is a partner at Catalyst Investors LLC, based in New York. Before joining Catalyst, Ryan was a Vice President in the Investment Banking Group of Daniels & Associates. Prior to joining Daniels, he was an associate in the Media & Telecommunications group at Bear Stearns. Ryan serves on the boards of Advantage Business Media, Aspire Media LLC, Las Vegas TV Partners and oversees Catalyst's investment in Council Tree Communications. He holds an AB with honors in American history from Harvard College.



Brian Rich - Non-Executive Director
Brian Rich is the Managing Partner at Catalyst Investors. Prior to co-founding Catalyst in 2000, Brian founded and headed TD Capital, the entity that made TD's U.S.-based investments in communications-related industries, from 1995 to 1999. As group head, he oversaw almost 40 investments totaling more than $500 million in equity, mezzanine and limited partnership investments. Before founding TD Capital, he was a Managing Director in the bank's Media, Telecom & Technology Group. Prior to joining TD in 1990, Mr. Rich held positions at The Bank of New York and Intel Corporation. Mr. Rich earned a BS in Industrial Engineering from SUNY at Buffalo and an MBA from Columbia University. He currently serves on the boards of Catalyst portfolio companies Aplus Holdings, Las Vegas TV Partners and MessageLabs Group.
